Inspired by memories from summer vibes before lockdown and in hope of a healthy, active summer this year. The big area of blue is in memory of bright turquoise skies one gets to see in the South of France or Southern Utah – to name a few. Living in London, these intense skies hold a special fascination for me. Large surfaces of tones of beige take me to a feeling of barefoot on the beach – summers where the closest to a shoe one wears is a flip flop. Some green, some dilapidated paints of boats and beach chairs are captured in some colourful marks.
